Acorn Creek Lifestyle Estate is an eco-conscious estate of approximately 19.3 hectares located just outside of Somerset West in the Helderberg region of the City of Cape Town. The Moddergat River flows through the site.

The development comprises group housing units, a mixed-use development node (a combination of retail, office, institutional and/or general residential), Private Open Space, Private and Public Roads, as well as a bridge over the Moddergat River.

Doug Jeffery Environmental Consultants acted as the Environmental Assessment Practitioner on this development and were responsible for undertaking the Basic Assessment process as part of the application for Environmental Authorisation. We were also involved with the later applications to amend the Environmental Authorisation.
