In terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) and the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended) the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning (DEA&DP) has approved a Part 1 Amendment to the Environmental Authorisation (EA) issued on 20 March 2024 (Ref. No. 16/3/3/1/B3/28/1067/23).
The Part 1 Amendment related to the change of ownership and the transfer of the rights and obligations of the EA as well as to replace the approved SDP with a simplified Site Plan.
