Springfield Dam

The proposal entails the enlargement of the Lorraine dam located on the Springfield Estate outside of Robertson in the Western Cape. An application is submitted in terms of Section 21 (b) of the National Water Act, 1998 for the licensing and registration of the final enlarged dam with capacity of 36 000 m3.

Fruitways Farm Setback Line Checklist

The proposal is for the expansion of the existing Controlled Atmosphere (CA) complex next to the existing Fruitways packhouse on Portion 88 of Farm Palmiet No. 319, Grabouw. The expansion of the existing facility will however extend to within 32 meters of the adjacent channel. The proposed construction activities will not have any detrimental impacts on the channel, hence a requested for the adoption of an ad hoc setback line is undertaken.
