This proposal entails widening a bridge and extending two culverts as part of the proposed Koelenhof Road (R304) upgrades between Welgevonden Road and Main Road 27, Stellenbosch.
In terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended), a Basic Assessment process must be undertaken as part of the application for Environmental Authorisation.

A non-substantive (Part 1) amendment application was submitted in terms of Regulation 29 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended) for the approved Watergate Residential Development on Portions 18, 19 and 20 of Farm No. 691, Mitchells Plain.
The Part 1 amendment was to reduce the total number of approved residential units on Portions 18, 19 and 20 of Farm No. 691, Mitchells Plain.

A retrospective authorisation will be submitted in terms of Section 24G of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), as amended, the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended), and the Section 24G Fine Regulations, 2017.

Swellendam Raw Water Pipeline
The proposal for the expansion of the raw water pipeline from Grootkloof Dam 3 towards the Hermitage Raw Water Pump Station on Remainder of Erf 1, Swellendam.
